POMCTN news

There are a number of roles currently being recruited by the UK Perioperative Medicine Clinical Trials Network (UK POMCTN) that we want to draw your attention to. Please get in touch with us if you want to discuss either of these opportunities to get involved with the Network.

POMCTN Deputy Director
Following the recruitment of Dr Joyce Yeung as the Network's Director, the POMCTN is now recruiting a new Deputy Director to take up post in 2022. The role is to support the Director in delivering all aspects of the Network's activities, including the successful delivery of all Network-led clinical trials, working closely with Chief Investigators to ensure that trials are well supported, as well as leading and developing the strategy of the Network.

The vacancy is now open for applications until Wednesday 19 January 2022 and applicants are encouraged to contact the CTN to discuss the role informally with Dr Yeung.

POMCTN Chief Investigator Scheme 2022
The POMCTN is also recruiting a new cohort of researchers who wish to lead their own clinical trials in perioperative medicine to enrol onto the training and mentorship scheme in 2022. Applicants must be members of the POMCTN Local or Principal Investigator scheme before they apply, with a proven track record of recruitment to clinical trials.
